That I need to start getting involved with Anna and Daniels little photo challenges. Grant it I have a basic camera but it might actually be fun to do something a little interactive.

...and it might get me on the blog bandwagon with something useful to accomplish.

♥ Something Grumpy

So earlier in the weekend you notice I was highly enthusiastic about the holiday but it turned out to be the most stressful weekend to date. One noob died setting off fireworks. HUGE fire plume...Then you have these assholes with leftover popper things that are the most useless thing to purchase.

Dear kids with poppers, Spend your money on something more useful...like food. The economy now in days...any money helps somewhere.

On a somewhat positive note my mother is coming home on Thursday. Back to negative, I have to play physical therapist for 3 months AND there's gonna be a hospital bed in the living room since she cant make it upstairs anymore.

Since "I love you" is out of context for this rant...

I hate you. =p

♥ Kodak Zi6

I keep promising to make a vlog with my still barely used Kodak Zi6 but its hard to get the willpower to record. As you all know Im extremely camera shy and super picky. Dan, yes I keep promising to you the most and Im truly sorry.

Its a great quality camera and quite sexy in BLACK. The pop out USB makes it super easy to transfer videos. The format tho is a little tricky to edit but theres always somehow around that ;)

♥ A real live nephew of my Uncle Sam Born on the Fourth of July

One of the most patriotic movies in American history starring James Cagney has to be my one and only favorite musical movie. Jimmy is Golden Era Hollywood, long before the likeness of Brad Pitt, Megan Fox, Angie Jolie, George Clooney...All of these people that glam fame more then it really is.

James died on his farm in March 1986. Even being considered Hollywood royalty, he still lived a very modest personal life.

For those whom never seen it (surely my Australian peeps havent seen it) I really wish you would. Keep in mind at that time WWII was going on which explains the 'in your face' patriotism. If your able to look past all of that, you'll see the amazing acting and brilliant musical score.

♥ Hair Curler

Since I never "style" my hair, my dad surprised me with a Conair Satin Finish Ceramic Instant Heat 1" Curling Iron. My hair has always been resistant to any styling techniques or products.

The heat settings go up to 30 which is a little extreme for my hair. 20 seems to hold the curl for about an hour. The silky finish lets my hair glide right off without getting stuck and ripping out. The 30 second heat timer lets you know when the iron is heated properly with a red LED light above the on/off

Its actually a very very nice product and perfect for medium length hair. When I figure out how to properly use it, will post a picture.
